George Orwell Studies is a biannual, paperback, academic, peer-reviewed journal. It aims to carry a range of scholarly articles:

  • shorter articles (of, say, 3,000 words);
  • polemical pieces (where appropriate);
  • interviews with Orwell scholars and others;
  • a reviews section looking at biographies and studies of his work, at new editions of his work – and stage, TV, radio and film adaptions;
